PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery excellent in cycle life.SOLUTION: An embodiment provides a battery 10. The battery 10 comprises a wound electrode group 1. Around the wound electrode group 1, a negative electrode 2 provided with a negative electrode collector 21 and a negative electrode active material-containing layer 22 formed thereon, a positive electrode 3 provided with a positive electrode active material-containing layer 32, and a separator 4 disposed between the positive electrode active material-containing layer 32 and the negative electrode active material-containing layer 22 are wound. The negative electrode active material-containing layer 22 contains lithium titanate. The negative electrode collector 21 is provided with a plurality of negative electrode collector tabs 23. The width of the negative electrode collector tabs 23 is WT (mm). The pitch between the negative electrode collector tabs 23 is LA (mm) or less. The width of the negative electrode active material-containing layer 22 is WA (mm). The negative electrode active material-containing layer 22 includes a first portion 22projecting from the positive electrode active material-containing layer 32.
