PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus capable of achieving a long life span of a light source device, an increase in excitation efficiency, or suppression of an influence on the human body.SOLUTION: A toilet apparatus includes a light source device that can apply ultraviolet rays to a photocatalytic film-formed bowl part of a toilet bowl, and human body detection means for detecting the presence or absence of the human body within a toilet room. The light source device irradiates the bowl part with the ultraviolet rays with a maximum wavelength of 360 nm or less, when the human body detection means detects the absence of the human body within the toilet room. |
