PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of electrolyte, even when an electrode terminal member is deformed by impact or the like.SOLUTION: A lithium ion square secondary battery includes a battery lid 3 for hermetically sealing a battery container into which a nonaqueous electrolyte for infiltrating an electrode group is injected, and a positive electrode terminal member 63 closing a through hole 13a of the battery lid 3. On the outer surface of the battery lid 3, an insulating plate 64 and a positive electrode connection plate 62 are laminated, and the positive electrode terminal member 63 is caulked to the positive electrode connection plate 62 by means of a caulking portion 63c. An upper surface of the positive electrode terminal member 63, a part of the positive electrode connection plate 62, an outer periphery of the insulating plate 64 and a peripheral part of the insulating plate 64 in the battery lid 3 are coated with an insulating layer 80 for preventing leakage of electrolyte. |
