PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer that prevents a reduction in cleaning performance for an image carrier in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A liquid developer of the present invention contains an insulating liquid and a plurality of toner particles. The liquid developer contains, as the toner particles, 20% or more by the number of toner particles having a particle diameter of 1μm or less, and 5% or more by the number of toner particles having a recess with a maximum diameter of 1μm or more, respectively. |
