A method and an apparatus for re-engineering software are disclosed. The method for re-engineering software according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of defining component types for a legacy system; detecting components from the legacy system based on the defined component types; and re-engineering the detected components based on the characteristics of the detected components. According to the present invention, an initial cost and time required for asset development can be reduced by clearly separating assets from the legacy system. |
