PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery state estimation device for estimating the residual capacity of a battery without using a current sensor, even when charging a battery by a generator, and to provide a control system of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A battery state estimation device 10 sets a phase angle &thetas;p, and controls the electrification/non-electrification timing of a plurality of switching elements 26ua, 26ub, 26va, 26vb, 26wa, 26wb of a driver circuit 24 for supplying a battery 16 with the three-phase AC current of a three-phase AC generator 12, while converting into a DC current, by a drive signal S of phase angle &thetas;p with reference to the phase of an inductive voltage of the three-phase AC generator 12, and then estimates the state of charge of the battery 16 based on the phase angle &thetas;p thus set. |
