PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic safety tire having improved durability by enhancing compression fatigue characteristics of a carcass ply cord, and heat adhesion resistance between the carcass ply cord and rubber.SOLUTION: A pneumatic safety tire has a carcass 2 extending between a pair of bead cores 1 as a frame. A side reinforcement rubber 4 is provided inside of a width direction of a sidewall portion 12 in the pneumatic safety tire. When area of the side reinforcement rubber is S1, area of a bead filler 5 is S2, and area of a rubber chafer 6 is S3, the following formulas are satisfied: (1) 0.10≤(S2+S3)/S1≤2.50, and (2) 0≤S2/(S2+S3)≤0.9. A reinforcement cord of the carcass ply is made of a polyester fiber and/or an aramid fiber. An adhesive treatment is applied in which an adhesive material including an epoxy compound is used as one bath process liquid, and an adhesive material including a blocked isocyanate compound and a resorcinol-formalin-latex is used as two bath process liquid. |
