PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a shape of a sheet a wave shape, and prevent accuracy reduction of sheet transportation.SOLUTION: A transported sheet is formed into a wave shape by a first rib 51 provided on a platen 50 and a holding member disposed above the platen 50. A sheet 6 on which an image is recorded on the platen 50 is transported in a state that an apex part of a mountain of the wave shape is held by plural paper discharge roller pairs 37. By being held by the paper discharge roller pairs 37, a height position of an apex part of a valley is steadied. On a downstream side of the paper discharge roller pairs 37 in a transportation direction, a second spur 82 separated in a longitudinal direction 9 is disposed. The second spur 82 holds the apex part of the valley whose height position is steadied. Therefore, possibility of sheet jam on the second spur 82 is reduced. The apex part of the mountain is held by the paper discharge roller pairs 37, and the apex part of the valley is held by the second spur 82, so that the shape of the sheet 6 is maintained to a wave shape. |
