The present invention relates to a semiconductor device, more particularly, to a device for generating a transmission clock without reference clock in a downstream device of bidirectional interface. In an embodiment of the present invention, a device for generating a transmission clock in a downstream device includes a digital phase detector which is located in a receiver for detecting a phase difference between received clock and recovered clock; a time-digital converter which is located in the receiver for generating a digital control oscillator code using the phase difference detected by the digital phase detector; a first digital control oscillator which is located in the receiver for outputting the recovered clock using the digital control oscillator code; a lock detector for outputting a locking detection signal which shows a locking status of the first digital control oscillator by comparing the received clock and recovered clock; a delta-sigma converter for accumulating and averaging the digital control oscillator code outputted from the time-digital converter; and a second digital control oscillator which is located in a transmission clock setting unit which outputs the digital control oscillator code outputted from the delta-sigma converter when the locking detection signal is outputted and transmitter for outputting a transmission clock using the digital control oscillator code outputted from the transmission clock setting unit. |
