PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capacity deterioration of a battery without reducing the convenience.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes a charging unit 21 for detecting the charging of a rechargeable battery 20 and controlling whether or not to charge the rechargeable battery 20, a setting state determination unit 22 for determining the setting state of the apparatus, a remaining battery detection unit 25 for detecting the remaining battery of the rechargeable battery 20, and a control unit 26 for displaying whether or not charging is required on a display 23 if the remaining battery detection unit 25 detects that the remaining amount of the battery 20 is a predetermined value or more, when the charging unit 21 detects the charging, or detects that the remaining amount of the battery 20 is less than a predetermined value, and the apparatus is in a predetermined setting state, instructs the charging unit 21 to start charging when an input detection unit 24 detects input of requiring the charging after display, and instructs the charging unit 21 to stop charging when the input detection unit 24 detects input of not requiring the charging. |
