The present invention relates to a desuperheater which extremely restrains noises caused by the clash of cooling water and vibrations on a resistance substrate, and improves the cooling efficiency of superheated vapor. The present invention is a non-Venturi type desuperheater in which a cooling water pipe is vertically installed at one position of a steam hose to pass through the steam hose, and a nozzle is installed at one end of the cooling pipe to be positioned in the center of cutting area of the steam hose to spray cooling water in the same direction as the vapor flows. A turbulence inducing ring which highly encourages the superheated steam in the vapor pipe in front of the cooling water nozzle is installed in the desuperheater to mix superheated steam with the cooling water shortly after making the superheated steam which is most adequate for the cooling water to be in contact with the superheated steam. |
