The present invention relates to a roof rail coupling structure and a roof rail coupling method and, more specifically, to a roof rail coupling structure using a side two-buck structure which includes a floor which forms a bottom of a vehicle body, an inner side coupled towards an upper portion of the vehicle body from both side surfaces of the floor, and a roof rail coupled in a vehicle width direction in an upper portion of the inner side, in which both side ends of the roof rail are coupled to overlap with an upper outer side surfaces of the inner side, and a roof rail coupling method using a side two-buck structure which includes a step wherein a side inner arm is coupled with both side surfaces of a floor which forms a bottom of a vehicle body; a step in which a cross-shaped joint portion is coupled with an upper portion of the side inner arm; a step in which a side inner reinforcing portion is coupled to overlap with the side inner arm and an outer side surface of the joint portion; a step in which a roof rail is coupled in a vehicle width direction with an upper portion of the side inner reinforcing portion and an upper side surface of the joint portion; a step in which a side outer reinforce is coupled with an outer portion of the side inner reinforcing portion; and a step in which a side outer panel is coupled with an outer portion of the side outer reinforce. According to the side structure-roof rail coupling structure and method of the present invention, vehicle body load transmission efficiency is significantly improved and vehicle body strength and vehicle collision performance can significantly be improved. |
