PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suitably reducing power in an array type arithmetic unit.SOLUTION: A configuration information generation apparatus for generating configuration information to be used for an array type arithmetic unit having a plurality of circuit blocks each of which includes one or more arithmetic elements and is configured so as to individually control a power supply includes: acquisition means for acquiring first configuration information and second configuration information; and correction means which when the configuration information to be used for the array type arithmetic unit is changed from the first configuration information to the second configuration information, corrects at least one of the first configuration information and the second configuration information so that the number of circuit blocks to be targets of power supply control is reduced.
