PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is easy to wear.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper disclosed in this invention has a waist expanding and contracting part 20 formed by fixing one or a plurality of elastic expanding and contracting members 10 extending in a width direction of the diaper between two layers of sheets in an expanded state in both a front body and a back body or one of them. In addition, a gather forming sheet 30 is disposed on both a skin facing surface side and a skin non-facing surface side of the waist expanding and contracting part 20 or one of them. The waist expanding and contracting part 20 and the gather forming sheet 30 are joined to each other with a plurality of joining parts 40 extending in the width direction. Consequently, spaces are created between the layers of the waist expanding and contracting part 20 and the gather forming sheet 30 in regions between the plurality of the joining parts 40, and gathers extending in the width direction are formed. |
