PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear used for wind power generation facilities capable of more easily performing maintenance operation in a narrow nacelle.SOLUTION: A reduction gear G1(to G4) used for wind power generation facilities 10 has a hollow shaft 66 of hollow structure as a part of power transmission system, a connection shaft (power transmission member) 70 to a succeeding stage is connected to an inner part of the hollow shaft 66, the hollow shaft 60 is configured such that one edge part 66A of the hollow structure can be exposed from a front stage side casing 45, the connection part 70 is made to be a fragile part which, as compared to the other member constituting the power transmission system, easily causes a specified change upon the transmission of power and the connection shaft 70 can be taken out from one edge part 66A of the hollow shaft 66 to the outside of the front stage side casing 45 while installing the reduction gear G1 itself to the wind power generation facilities 10. |
