<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain hydrogen by simple decomposition of water.SOLUTION: A catalyst cylinder 3 composed of SUS304 is arranged adjacent to a steam chamber 2 for changing water into steam, and hydrogen is generated by heating the catalyst cylinder 3 to about 700°C with a heat transfer heater 4 with no catalyst in the catalyst cylinder 3. By adding NaOH further as a catalyst, hydrogen is generated at 400°C.</p> |
