1. A power supply with a waveform control function, said power supply comprising:
a waveform type selector that selects a desired shape for an output waveform of said power supply, a setpoint selector that sets an output setpoint for said power supply; a comparator circuit that receives a feedback signal corresponding to said output waveform and outputs an error signal representing a difference between said feedback signal and a reference waveform signal; an inverter circuit that adjusts said output waveform based on said error signal; and a waveform generator that generates said reference waveform signal, said waveform generator comprising,
a target generation circuit that generates a plurality of target values corresponding to said reference waveform, at least one of said target values corresponding to a peak value of said reference waveform,a transition circuit that performs a series of transitions between said plurality of target values to generate said reference waveform signal, anda ramp circuit that controls a ramp speed of at least one transition of said series of transitions based on said desired shape, said at least one transition comprising a transition to or from said target value corresponding to said peak value, wherein said generation of said target value corresponding to said peak value is based on at least said output setpoint. |
