PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for channel sounding by an access point.SOLUTION: A sounding frame is transmitted to a plurality of STAs, and a sounding response frame is received from each of the plurality of STAs prior to transmitting data to the plurality of STAs. The sounding response frame includes at least one of channel estimation based on the transmitted sounding frame and channel measurement based on the transmitted sounding frame. The sounding response frame received from a first STA of the plurality of STAs is received at a short frame interval delay, after completion of the sounding frame transmission. The plurality of STAs are specified with addresses on the basis of group information in the sounding frame, and the group information is used so that any STAs not associated with a group which receives the sounding frame can set a NAV on the basis of a duration field in the sounding frame. |
