<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal performing feedback of channel state information, and to provide a method thereof.SOLUTION: A processor determines a rank indicator for a specific frequency band, and selects a first type precoding matrix indicator corresponding to the rank indicator thus determined, from a code book set used for transmission of the specific frequency band. A transmission antenna transmits the indices of the rank indicator and the first type precoding matrix indicator to a base station via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). At this time, the indices of the rank indicator and the first type precoding matrix indicator are transmitted while being joint encoded. A second type precoding matrix indicator is not joint encoded with the rank indicator, and transmitted with a shorter period.</p> |
