PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device in which air heated by a light source can be favorably cooled and exhausted.SOLUTION: An image projection device includes: a light source 61; image projection means such as an optical engine unit 100 that projects an image by using light from the light source 61; and mixing means that intakes and mixes air heated by the light source 61 and air with lower temperature than that air, and exhausts the air mixed by the mixing means to the outside. The mixing means includes a mixing portion that intakes and mixes the air heated by the light source 61 and the air with lower temperature than that air; and an agitation member such as a cylindrical fan that agitates the air inside the mixing portion. |
