PHOSPHOR LAYER COVERED LED, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME, AND LED DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a phosphor layer covered LED which enables a phosphor to be uniformly placed around an LED and uses various kinds of support sheets while preventing damages, and to provide the phosphor layer covered LED obtained by the manufacturing method and an LED device including the phosphor layer covered LED.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a phosphor layer covered LED, LEDs 4 are placed on an upper surface of a support sheet 12 and a phosphor sheet 5 formed by a phosphor resin composition including an activation energy ray curable resin and a phosphor is placed on the upper surface of the support sheet 12 so as to cover the LEDs 4. An activation energy ray is radiated to the phosphor sheet 5 and the LEDs 4 are sealed by the phosphor sheet 5. The phosphor sheet 5 is cut so as to correspond to the LEDs 4 to obtain a phosphor sheet covered LED 10. Then, the phosphor sheet covered LED 10 is peeled from the support sheet 12.
