<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boron nitride powder with the boron nitride powder imparted with good fluidity, high repletion, etc. and a resin composition containing the boron nitride powder.SOLUTION: A boron nitride powder in which silica fine particles are adhered to the surface of the boron nitride powder and a resin composition containing the boron nitride powder are provided. The silica fine particles consist of hydrophobic spherical silica fine particles (1) which are produced by a method comprising: (A1) a step of obtaining a hydrophilic spherical silica fine particles composed essentially of SiOunits; (A2) a step of introducing RSiOunits into the surface of the hydrophilic spherical fine particle; and (A3) a step of introducing RSiOunits. and have particle sizes of 0.005-1.0μm, a value of the particle size distribution D90/D10 of 3 or smaller and an average circularity of 0.8-1.</p> |
