PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy for an electronic and electrical device excellent in stress relaxation resistance property and balance of bearing force-flexure, having excellent flexure processability even flexure treated so that an axis of flexure to a rolling direction becomes an orthogonal direction, and suitable for an electroconductive part for electronic and electrical device.SOLUTION: A copper alloy for an electronic and electrical device contains Zn of over 15.0 mass% and 36.5 mass% or less, Sn of 0.10 mass% to 0.90 mass%, Ni of 0.15 mass% or more and less than 1.00 mass%, Fe of 0.001 or more and less than 0.100 mass%, P of 0.005 mass% to 0.100 mass% and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, satisfies 0.002≤Fe/Ni<0.700, 3.0<(Ni+Fe)/P<100.0 and 0.10<Sn/(Ni+Fe)<5.00 by atom ratio, and has a yield ratio YS/TS calculated from strength TS and 0.2% bearing force YS when a tensile test is conducted in a parallel direction to a rolling direction of over 90%. |
