PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device for assisting a user to manually perform chest compression to a patient as part of resuscitation of heart.SOLUTION: A medical device includes: a feedback device configured to generate a feedback cue and to assist a user to set an opportunity for performing chest compression; and a processor, a memory, and a related circuit that are configured to determine a cue opportunity for allowing the feedback device to generate the feedback cue. The feedback cue includes two or more phases discriminable by the user. A first phase corresponds to an upstroke phase of rescuer's movement, and a second phase of the feedback cue corresponds to a downstroke of the rescuer's compression movement. |
