1. A coating for an ink jet printhead front face, wherein the coating comprises:
a crosslinked dimethyl methyltrifluoropropyl siloxane polymer further comprising a methylhydrogen methyltrifluoropropyl siloxane polymer cross-linker having the general formulawherein each x and y is independently an integer from about 1 to about 100, wherein the coating has high thermal stability as indicated by less than about 15 percent weight loss when heated to up to a temperature of 290° C. at a pressure of up to 350 psi.
