1. An image forming apparatus that has a receiving section receiving data from an external device and forms an image based on the received data, comprising:
a sending section that sends a communication address of the image forming apparatus to the external device, wherein the receiving section receives data sent with the communication address by the external device, wherein a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed wirelessly, and wherein when, among a plurality of data displayed at the external device, data of image displayed for recognition by a selection of a user for the external device is sent with the communication address from the external device, the receiving section receives the selected data.
