Disclosed is an electromagnetic wiping device for controlling the plated amount of a plated steel sheet. The electromagnetic wiping device includes an electromagnetic wiping member which is formed adjacent to the plated steel sheet basically progressing to adjust the distance to the steel sheet and which controls the plating thickness by changing an electromagnetic field; and additionally a sucking member which is formed adjacent to the electromagnetic wiping member to remove wiping byproducts. The electromagnetic wiping member is formed to adjust the distance to the steel sheet while circularly or rectilinearly moves toward the steel sheet via a fist driving member or a second driving member. The present invention can quickly plate the steel sheet by minimizing the generation of dross on the molten surface or noise when jetting gas or scattering plating solution, thereby improving productivity. Furthermore, the present invention can simplify equipment in comparison with an existing gas wiping method. Especially, the present invention can obtain improved effects of facilitating the establishment or maintenance of the equipment by removing the wiping byproducts and cleaning the electromagnetic wiping member. |
