The present invention relates to wearing-resistant steel, secured with high hardness, wearing resistance, and excellent properties in low temperatures, and a method for manufacturing the same. The wearing-resistant steel includes: 2.6-4.5% by weight of Mn, 0.05-1.0% by weight of Si, and the rest of Fe and other inevitable impurities, while satisfying the following (11-Mn)/45<=C<=(15-Mn)/45. The refined structure of the wearing-resistant steel includes 95% by surface integral of martensite. |
