PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink jet printing inks having improved ink thermal stability, improved printer reliability, excellent hiding power, desired colors or hues, and increased mechanical integrity.SOLUTION: An aqueous ink includes (a) an aqueous liquid carrier and (b) a colorant comprising nanodiamond black. The nanodiamond black comprises a diamond-like core substantially surrounded by a graphite shell. The core is present in an amount from 10 to 70 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the core and the shell. |
