PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent high-absorbent polymer particles from being extruded from a longitudinal end of an absorbent article.SOLUTION: Structurally, an absorbent article includes an absorber 56 into which the high-absorbent polymer particles are mixed, front-side layers 30, 40, 62 and 70 that are positioned on the front side of the absorber 56, and a liquid impermeable sheet 11 that is positioned on the backside of the absorber 56; the liquid impermeable sheet 11 is folded back on at least one of the front and rear sides of the absorber 56; and this folded part 11f is elongated to a section between an end surface of the absorber 56 and the front-side layers 30, 40, 62 and 70. |
