PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lubricating oil compositions and methods for making the lubricating oil compositions.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil composition can include a base oil, and at least one propylene-based polymer comprising 60 wt.% to 98 wt.% of propylene derived units and other units derived from one or more other α olefins. The propylene-based polymer can have a triad tacticity of 90% or more, a heat of fusion of less than 80 J/g, and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by GPC of 70,000 to 250,000.
