PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator which can take out a large amount of power generation from small vibration with simple configuration, and yet can be made compact.SOLUTION: A power generator 1 includes an amplification mechanism 3 arranged on the suspension member 22 side of an automobile 20, and amplifying the amount of displacement of rotary motion, by converting vibration of an engine 21 into rotary motion via a torque rod 23, a rotary member 4 capable of rotary motion consisting of a magnet and coupled with the amplification mechanism 3, a core member 5 composed of a soft magnetic material, having a pair of ends 14 facing each other and holding the rotary member 4, so as to approach or separate from the rotary member 4 by rotary motion thereof, and configured to connect the pair of ends 14, and a coil 16 wound around the core member 5. An induction current is generated in the coil 16 when the rotary member 4 repeats approach and separation for the pair of ends 14 of the core member 5. |
