PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact coordinate input device.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device 1 for detecting a pointed coordinate position in a coordinate input area 2 includes two sensor bar units 4, 5 arranged on the outside of facing two sides of the coordinate input area 2. The sensor bar units 4, 5 includes: linear illumination units 6, 7 arranged in a longitudinal direction of the sensor bar units 4, 5, and emitting light corresponding to the length of the side toward the other facing sensor bar units 5, 4; and two light-receiving units 10U, 10B, 11U, 11B arranged at a distance equal to or longer than the length of the side in the longitudinal direction, and receiving light corresponding to the length of the side and emitted from the linear illumination units 7, 6 arranged in the other sensor bar units 5, 4. |
