The present invention relates to a red ginseng solid block using a red ginseng concentrate and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, the red ginseng solid block is made of 100% of the red ginseng concentrate produced via the processes of mixing, stirring, degassing, filling, quick-freezing and freeze-drying. The red ginseng solid block produced by the method has excellent texture and cold and hot water solubility; is easy to adjust single dose exactly; and has remarkably improved convenience. Therefore, the red ginseng solid block can be used in a form of health food which makes red ginseng easily be taken without loss of red ginseng active ingredients.
