PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist separator which maintains high separation performance utilizing a centrifugal force and furthermore has high reliability by suppressing a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the mist separator to be small.SOLUTION: A mist separator (1) for separating a liquid mist from a gas including the liquid mist includes: a rotor (13) which is fixed to a hollow rotating shaft and has main rotary blades (11); and a stator (17) disposed in such a way that the stator (17) and the rotor (13) are arranged side by side in an axial direction. The stator (17) has main fixed blades (15) positioned downstream of the main rotary blades in the flow path of the gas, and a cover (26) covering the peripheries of the main fixed blades and the main rotary blades. The main fixed blades are formed so as to cause the gas to flow inward in a radial direction from periphery while lowering a flow rate, and a cover discharge port (35) for discharging a collection liquid in which the liquid mist is accumulated to the outside of the cover is provided in the cover (26). |
