PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament comprising human Tr1 cells directed to a human heat shock protein (HSP), and methods for treating an inflammatory autoimmune condition.SOLUTION: The invention provides pharmaceutical compositions in which human Tr1 cell populations for treating an inflammatory autoimmune condition are preferably HSP60, HSP70, HSP90 and fragments or mixtures thereof. The invention also provides use of the compositions in combination with one or more effective therapeutic agents. The invention further provides methods of administering 10to 10/kg Tr1 cells to a subject in need thereof.
