[PROBLEMS] To provide a dust separator which can be installed in a waterway extremely easily while taking account of countermeasures against bad smell and noise. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The dust separator includes a containing frame body (11) having a pair of sideboards (12) arranged oppositely along the sidewall (10a) of a waterway (10), a frontboard (13) and a back board (14) closing the upper portion (12b) of both sideboards (12) above the upper edge of the sidewall of the waterway, a top plate (15) stretching between the ends of both upper portions (12b), and a bottom member (16) stretching between the ends of the lower portion (12a) of both sideboards (12), a bar screen (17) arranged between both lower portions (12a), a rake (20) which elevates/lowers while being guided by guide portions (18, 19) provided on the inner surface of both sideboards, a discharge opening (31) provided in the back plate in correspondence with the elevating position of the rake, and an installation member (43) provided in the horizontal direction on the outer surface of both sideboards and the frontboard and backboard. |
