The invention provides a technology which enables an easier detachment, realizes the thinning and reduces the influences by noises in an electric connector connecting a pluraltiy of cables with a wiring substrate. The electric connector includes an upper casing (10) formed by plate-shaped conductive metal materials, a housing holding the pluraltiy of cables (4) and including a plurality of terminals electrically connected to the core wires of the cables (4), and a lower housing formed by the plate-shaped conductive metal materials. The upper housing and the lower housing, having the housing sandwiched therebetween, are assembled. Furthermore, the upper housing is provided with a front wall sheet (14) bending toward the housing at the oppostite side of one side for the cables (4) to be led out, the front wall sheet (14) is provided with a protruding part (15) protruding toward the outer side of a cable side coennctor (100) and a hole (14c) adjacent to the protruding part (15), and pulling pieces can be arranged at the protruding part (15) and the hole (14c). |
