PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic core and an inductor which are suitable for various modules including a power source module or the like.SOLUTION: A magnetic core 310X comprises a binder component 314X, and soft magnetic metal powder pieces 312 having flat shapes which are bonded together by the binder component, and has elasticity. The magnetic core includes 60 vol.% or more of the soft magnetic metal powder pieces and 10-25 vol.% of pores 318X. The binder component includes a silicon oxide as a primary component.
