PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic safety tire having improved durability by enhancing compression fatigue characteristics of a carcass ply cord.SOLUTION: A pneumatic safety tire has a carcass 2 extending between a pair of bead cores 1 when the bead cores are respectively buried in a pair of bead parts 11, and being made of at least one sheet of a carcass ply as a frame. A side reinforcement rubber 4 is provided inside of a tire width direction of a sidewall portion and a rubber chafer is arranged outside of the tire width direction of the carcass and the bead cores in the pneumatic safety tire. When area of the side reinforcement rubber is S1, and area of a rubber chafer is S2, a following formula is satisfied in a tire width direction cross section: (1) 0.10≤S2/S1≤2.50. A reinforcement cord of the carcass ply is made of a polyester fiber and/or an aramid fiber. |
