PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduced size in a cavity filter.SOLUTION: A cavity filter includes two filter chambers 64, 66 at the inside of a housing having a rectangular form and conductivity, the filter chambers being partitioned along a longitudinal center axis of the housing, and accommodates a series circuit including a central inductor L2 and a variable capacitor VC1 and a pair of input/output inductors L1, L3 electromagnetically coupled to the central inductor, and a series circuit including a central inductor L5 and a variable capacitor VC2 and a pair of input/output inductors L4, L6 electromagnetically coupled to the central inductor, in each filter chamber, respectively. The series circuits and input/output inductors are arranged to be in a reverse direction each other along the longitudinal direction of the housing in each filter chamber, and thereby input/output terminals T1 and T2 of the cavity filter are disposed at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the housing to reduce the size of the cavity filter. |
