The present invention relates to a graphene/PBO composite which has excellent thermal stability and mechanical properties, and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention comprises a method for manufacturing the graphene/PBO composite reinforced with graphene nanoparticles by introducing the graphene nanoparticles in at least one step selected from a dehydrochlorination step, a polymerization step, and a cyclization step which are the steps of synthesizing PBO, followed by uniformly dispersing the graphene nanoparticles. The graphene/PBO composite provided in the present invention is processed into fibers, films, fabrics, etc. and can be used for the manufacture of a product which has excellent thermal stability and mechanical properties.
