<p>The present invention relates to a damping apparatus for a slider which adopts a relatively large-sized pneumatic damper, thus avoiding oil leakage to maintain the clean state around the damping apparatus, preventing the failure occurrence to optimize the life span thereof, reducing the manufacturing cost, and providing simple configuration of the manufacturing mold. According to the present invention, the damping apparatus includes: a case fixed to a fixed body including a door frame of a sliding door and having a guide groove formed to guide the movements of a hook and a damper housing portion formed therein; a damper disposed in the damper housing portion of the case; the hook mounted on the front end of a rod of the damper and which a lock lever fixed to the slider of the sliding door is inserted into; and an extension spring whose one end is fixed to the hook and the other end is fixed to the case to conduct the returning operation of the damper, wherein the case is open in both directions which the damper housing portion faces.</p> |
