The present invention relates to a black box device for sharing navigator′s safe driving data and a method for operating the same. According to the present invention, navigator′s safe driving data are regularly updated onto a black box so that the safe driving data previously stored on the black box are used in a case where no power is supplied to the navigator. Alternatively, the black box supplies power to the navigator in a case where no power is supplied to the navigator so that the safe driving data stored on the navigator can be used in real time in the black box. The black box device for sharing navigator′s safe driving data according to the present invention includes a black box control unit that approaches a navigator storage unit in real time, receives safe driving data, and then performs guiding with the safe driving data; a GPS unit which searches for a current location to allow the black box control unit to search for safe driving data corresponding to a vehicle location; and an output unit that outputs safe driving data corresponding to the current location according to a command signal from the black box control unit. |
