<p>Various embodiments relate to techniques of providing route guidance (201 a, 201 d) for a planned route comprising a route guidance event (210) ahead of a current position (203) of a vehicle. The route guidance (201a, 201d) is provided for at least one position (220-1, 220-2) to a driver of the vehicle to enable the driver to follow the route guidance event (210). The route guidance (201a, 201d) is provided in dependence of an established distance (220-1a, 220-2a) between the at least one position (220-1, 220-2) and the route guidance event (210) and in dependence of a number of required driving lane changes (202a) from the at least one position (220-1, 220-2) to the route guidance event (210).</p> |
