<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve operability in a position adjusting process executed prior to the comparative display of sectional images reconstructed from a plurality of three-dimensional medical images. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic position adjusting part 34 executes the position adjusting process for adjusting the anatomical position of a subject in the images based on content characteristics of the plurality of three-dimensional medical images, and outputs the result of the position adjusting process and the accuracy of the position adjustment representing the accuracy of the position adjusting process. A sectional image generating part 37 generates sectional images representing a prescribed cross section corresponding to each other among the three-dimensional medical images for each three-dimensional medical image based on the respective three-dimensional medical images and the result of position adjustment. If a position adjustment accuracy determining part 36 determines that the accuracy of the position adjustment is so low as not to satisfy a prescribed standard when a display control part 38 displays the generated sectional images in a display means respectively, a manual position adjustment receiving part 35 makes announcement for promoting correction of the result of the position adjusting process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
