A hub case 8 accommodates an electric motor 16, an internal rotating member 17, a decelerator 19 that reduces the rotational speed of the electric motor 16 and transmits the rotational speed to the internal rotating member 17, and a one-way clutch 20 that transmits the rotation of the internal rotating member 17 to the hub case 8 but does not transmit the rotation of the hub case 8 to the internal rotating member 17. The internal rotating member 17 includes an internal gear 26. The decelerator 19 includes a sun gear 25 rotated by the electric motor 16 and a planetary gear 27 engaged with the sun gear 25 and the internal gear 26. The one-way clutch 20 includes ratchet pawls 31 provided on the outer periphery of the internal gear 26 and a ratchet gear 32 provided in the hub case 8. The ratchet gear 32 is disposed so as to surround the internal gear 26 from the outside in a radial direction.
