A roof unit10is disclosed for channeling water inwardly of a roof. The unit comprises a base and channelling means disposed on a first side of the base for channelling rainwater over the base to a channelled region upon the base. An aperture19may be formed in the chanelled region to allow passage of water through the unit from the first side to a second side of the base. Water passing through the unit may be carried by ducting provided on the second side of the base. The channeling means may comprise channeling members22a,22bwhich diverge from the channeled region. The unit may have sealing means24,25which deform to match the contours of the adjacent roofing surface. Water may be carried by the ducting to a storage vessel, flow of water into the storage vessel may be controlled by a valve. |
