The mat (1) has a web-like or plate-like compensating element (2) that is provided with a set of upwardly projecting protrusions (4) starting from a lower bearing plane (3). The projecting moldings form an upper bearing plane (6) at a distance to the lower bearing plane. The upwardly projecting protrusions are spaced from each other such that the protrusions have an undercut (8) along its periphery. A water permeable cover inhibits penetration of a viscous adhesive material into the upwardly projecting protrusions on an underside of the lower bearing plane. |
