<p>A scaffolding clamp 1 has a centre element 2 with clamp halves 3, 4 hinged at one end and secured by fastener assemblies at the other end. The fastener assemblies having a radial lug 3 at one end and may have a nut 11, 12 at the other end so that cavities 7, 8 can be constricted whilst protruding parts such as screw threads 9, 10 are avoided. The fastener assembly may not extend beyond the centre element at one end and the nut at the other end to reduce protuberance hazard. The lug may be t-shaped and may form part of a screw extending from the centre element. The lug may be part of a sleeve or collar 5 which may have an open end and may have threads. The nut can have an open end or may have a closed end.</p> |
